The Project Manager provides oversight for all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role manages teams, subcontractors, and resources while maintaining clear communication with clients, owners, and project stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage project schedules and cost-effective plans
- Coordinate employees, subcontractors, materials, and equipment across multiple projects
- Oversee trade contractors and ensure all work meets specifications and regulations
- Track project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion
- Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to owners, architects, and stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day operations and client communication
- Generate and maintain project reporting using company software (Procore, Sage)
- Identify and manage changes in project scope, costs, and timelines
- Oversee contract administration, permits, licenses, and project closeout
- Implement and maintain safety standards and quality control procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Excel, Sage 100, and Procore
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills
- Knowledge of financials, job costing, and project forecasting
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple moving parts
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience (commercial preferred)
- Project management experience required
- Project Management certification (or willingness to obtain, TCS will assist)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (preferred) or equivalent experience
Leadership Responsibilities
- Supervise and support project team members including Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, Project Assistants, and Estimators
- Mentor and support employee development and growth
- Step into various team roles when needed to support project success
Working Conditions
- Office and field-based work environment
- Travel required (up to 3 weeks per month)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Extended periods of sitting and computer work
- Overtime may be required to meet deadlines
Pay & Benefits
- $70,000–$90,000 per year
